I always worry when classic comic storylines are adapted to live action or animated movies.
Can you inject the same emotions and depth into a two hour (or less) movie that is equal to a comic storyline that maybe took months or even years to set up?

It was announced a few days ago that Joss Whedon will be directing an upcoming Batgirl solo movie as part of the DC Comics Extended Universe.

Nightwing: Return to Bludhaven
Not only has Tim Seeley honored the legacy of NIghtwing but added his own spin to what makes this hero so great.
Mr Seeley is able to blend the character’s lighthearted nature with a touch of darkness that most street level comics characters seem to have these days in new, fresh ways.
Prometheus: Villain For Life
Prometheus was the son of two career criminals who traveled the country committing thefts and murders until the pair was gunned down by the Police.
In a reversal of Batman’s origin, Prometheus vowed to “annihilate the forces of justice” in honor of his parents.
Savitar: Dark Lord of Speed
Savitar first appeared in Flash #108 (December 1995) and was created by writer Mark Waid and artist Oscar Jimenez.
the show version differs at least somewhat from the comics version.
Cyborg Superman
The original Cyborg Superman was originally a NASA astronaut named Hank Henshaw.
During a Lexcorp radiation experiment, Henshaw and three other crew members were affected by a combination of their radiation experiment and a solar flare.
Invasion! (The CW DC heroes vs aliens)
This year’s week long crossover of the CW DC Comics TV shows has the potential to be one of the most ambitious undertakings ever to happen on network TV, as characters from four different shows will interact in one huge storyline. It has been revealed that the storyline will be loosely based on the 1988 Invasion miniseries by DC Comics in which several alien races form an alliance to attempt to conquer Earth.

Hanging with the Hood (Is Jason Todd leadership material?)
In my opinion the Red Hood we see in this book is the best interpretation we've seen since the New 52, maybe the best ever.
I think Jason has matured a little but still kept his edge.
The Cinematography of the DCEU
His style is dark with bright color. Superman’s suit is brighter, the tone is different with that.
From what we can see it is bright but still shows color and still has a grey tint.
